I cannot acces voicemail by pressing the 'MESSAGE' key.
The message key does not illuminate and when pressed does not respond.

Dial your voicemail access code (eg. 123) clear all new messages by saving or deleting, be sure you have 'No new messages', then
Unplug your handset from the Wall socket or from the base of the handset, wait 30 seconds and rexconnect.
